Bellagio Hotel & Casino Las Vegas
Bellagio Las Vegas was a Steve Wynn project currently owned by Blackstone Inc. at a cost of $4.25 billion, but is operated by MGM Resorts. It replaced the Dunes and opened in 1998. Steve Wynn built the Mirage, Treasure Island, and Bellagio before constructing Wynn and Encore. The Bellagio feels like a museum or library. They had the best video game arcade we've seen in a Las Vegas resort. The arcade has been closed however.

Bellagio has an artificial lake in front of the property along with a "dancing water fountain" show that repeats every 15 minutes between 8 pm and midnight. You can also see it every half hour from 3 pm to 8 pm weekdays and 12 noon to 8 pm on weekends and holidays. It may be canceled in the event of high winds or technical issues.
The "show" is more dramatic with the fountains in motion and the accompanying music.

Inside the Bellagio in February 2003. We usually visit Las Vegas in December but have also visited in February, March, June, and August.

Bellagio Las Vegas as seen in February 2003 and December 2006. We had an Olympus digital SLR in 2006, the higher quality is fairly obvious. A digital SLR is a hybrid camera that uses digital technology with removable standard 35mm camera lenses.
