Treasure Island Las Vegas




Originally built by Steve Wynn, then sold to MGM Resorts, and now owned by Phil Ruffin; Treasure Island was intended to be a second room tower for the Mirage. The original skull and crossbones sign was replaced with a more dignified 'TI" sign in 2003. The photo above is from 2005.

Treasure Island valet parking. The vehicles should give away the time frame, late 1990s. Treasure Island used to have a show using this fake pirate ship called "The Sirens of TI" which as you can see was very popular. A huge crowd is waiting for the show to begin. I've never seen the entire show, just bits and pieces of it.
