Excalibur Las Vegas

This photo of Excalibur was taken in 2008, but the exterior appearance of Excalibur has never changed. MGM Grand changed the style of their lion, Luxor added a second room tower, Mandalay Bay changed the name of their second room tower to THEhotel and then to Delano; but the Excalibur has remained the same. This "budget" property targets families with a fun medieval theme and has an arcade similar to Circus Circus.

Excalibur as seen from the airport's Terminal 1 in 2006. The airport property actually extends all the way to Las Vegas Blvd. but the strip is about 2 miles from Terminal 1. You can walk or take a bus, taxi, Uber, Lyft or shuttle, or rent a car but you have to use streets and sidewalks, you can't legally walk or drive across the runways to the strip.

Daytime shot of Excalibur in December 2019. This is probably our best photo of Excalibur. The 2009 photo was shot from ground level, but this one was either taken from our room in MGM Grand or the MGM Grand parking garage rooftop; which is the 7th floor. We stayed at MGM in December 2018 and Decemberr 2019.
